Estonian Journal of Education

Eesti Haridusteaduste Ajakiri. Estonian Journal of Education is a peer-reviewed electronic journal with an international editorial board (1.2. classification according to Estonian Research Information System). It publishes scholarly articles in Estonian embodying original research in all areas of education. The journal uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) and will be published in collaboration with the University of Tartu and Tallinn University by the University of Tartu Press.

The journal welcomes both empirical research and review articles in the field of education and related areas. In addition, translated articles of international interest from acknowledged experts in the field will be published. The journal is indexed in the databases Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and EBSCO Academic Search Complete.

Estonian Journal of Education will be published twice a year (in May and November). Both free and special issues will be published. The next free issue of Estonian Journal of Education (Eesti Haridusteaduste Ajakiri) Vol. 10, No. 1 is scheduled to be published in May 2022. The editors of the free issue are associate professor of pre-school education Merle Taimalu and lecturer in didactics Liina Lepp from the University of Tartu and associate professor of pre-school education Maire Tuul from Tallinn University.

Aleksandar Baucal is interested in the development of children's new competencies
