If you are an in-service teacher, university lecturer, educational technologist, or any other educational practitioner, the micro-credential programme “Use of technology in contemporary learning” offers the possibility to develop your capacity to use technology in education meaningfully. During the micro-credential programme, you will have the opportunity to be part of an international community of educational researchers and practitioners devoted to studying and exploring the role of educational technology in contemporary learning.
In cooperation with ESTDEV, we can offer 8 scholarships (free participation in the micro-credential programme and covering the travel and accommodation costs) for Georgian, Armenian and Moldovian citizens.
The programme will be delivered in a blended format and will cover one semester. The course starts with an onsite session from 9 to 17 August and will have dedicated workshops on Technology Use in Education. From September onwards, the course will continue with several online courses on Digital Literacy, New Learning Paradigms and Critical Issues of Technology Use in Education. The learning process will also be supported by regular online seminars led by the programme director.
The micro-credential programme is specifically designed for those working full-time or who would like to develop their professional capacity in educational technology. Also, the credits awarded for the micro-credential programme (17 ECTS) can be transferred to the related master’s programme in Educational Technology (60 ECTS).
The course is delivered in English.
